Katherine Cort “Low-E Storm Windows Gain Acceptance as a Home Weatherization Measure” If you are looking to upgrade low-performing windows in your home, and a full window replacement isn’t practical, low-e storm windows can be a great energy-efficient alternative, says Katherine Cort. “Low-e windows provide similar energy savings to a full replacement for about one-third of the cost.”
