The Legends of Home Performance: John Straube
John Straube is a professor at the University of Waterloo in Canada, as well principal and senior building science specialist at RDH Building Science, Inc. He's also one of our featured Legends of Home Performance.
Straube has been interested in buildings since he was a teenager, and he's learned a lot in his 30 years in our industry.
"The future of home performance is going to be as turbulent and exciting as the last 20 years...the majority of buildings in America now by far, don't have any approach to energy efficiency, durability, or safety," he says.
