Who Says Green Canít be Free?

Not the be mistaken for a cruel April Fool’s Day joke, the Santa Rosa Junior College Interior Design Program will be presenting their Speakers for Green Conference this April 1, 2011—for free.
Titled, “Green Design: Empowering the Future,” the conference will feature speakers on topics ranging from local building codes to eco-friendly wall coverings. Additionally, keynote speaker and architect, Carol Venolia, will be taking on the subject of green design and teaching attendees how to restore vital connections between Earth’s natural elements and our senses, moods, and physical health.
Also in the lineup: Chief Building Official for the City of Santa Rosa, Michael Whitaker; Energy and Sustainability Manager for the County of Sonoma, Liz Yager; and award-winning Bay Area product designer, Ruth Jacobsen; among others.
